Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow led his team to the Super Bowl in his first full season, which is an impressive feat considering the team’s 4-11-1 2020 record.

Now Burrow duels veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56. Current Super Bowl odds have the Bengals as underdogs.

Rams (-4.5) at Bengals (Neutral)

Here are the game-day details you need to know:

  • Date: Sunday, Feb. 13, 2022
  • Time: 6:30 P.M. EST
  • Venue: SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA

How will Joe Burrow perform this week? Here’s a look at three Joe Burrow prop bets I believe are worth playing.

1. Over 36.5 Passing Attempts (-115)

While the Bengals will want to establish the run with running back Joe Mixon, it won’t be easy against this Rams defense. They ranked sixth in rushing yards allowed per game during the regular season, and only one player, Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Leonard Fournette, rushed for over 50 yards (51) against them in the playoffs.

During the playoffs, Cincinnati’s offense has relied on Burrow’s arm. The Bengals have had over 100 yards rushing only once in the playoffs (against the Chiefs). The team only rushed for over 100 yards in that game because of Joe Burrow’s 25 rushing yards.

The Bengals’ passing first down percentage has been 69.64% through the playoffs. Burrow’s gone under this total only once in the previous five games. Look for Burrow to air it out against an elite Rams rushing defense.

2. Over 276.5 Passing Yards (-110)

Burrow’s gone under this total twice in these playoffs.

He threw for 244 yards against the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card round and 250 against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.

Burrow went over this total against the Tennessee Titans, throwing for 348 yards in the Divisional Round. He also absorbed nine sacks in that game. Both the Rams and the Titans were top-10 against the rush and in sacks. The Rams’ defense ranked third in the league, with 50 sacks. Against the pass, however, they allowed the twelfth-most passing yards per game in the regular season (238.6).

Burrow’s likely to take some hits in this game, and as the sacks push the Bengals back, I believe Burrow will have to throw even more to overcome the yardage deficits.

3. Over 0.5 Interceptions (-130)

The Bengals’ offense started slowly against the Chiefs in the AFC Championship, scoring only 10 points in the first half. Heading into the second half, Cincinnati faced an 11-point deficit.

Burrow led the way, and the Bengals rallied to tie the game. During the heroic second half, however, Burrow also threw an interception.

During the 2021 season, Los Angeles averaged 13.3 first-half points. Should the Rams start hot and the Bengals fall into a deficit, Burrow will have to throw the ball downfield against a Rams secondary featuring All-Pro CB Jalen Ramsey and talented safety Taylor Rapp.

Top Three Joe Burrow Prop Bets

Super Bowl LVI features two top-tier NFL quarterbacks vying for the Lombardi Trophy. If the Rams go up early, I expect these three Joe Burrow prop bets to hit over.
