You might be torn on who will win the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t take advantage of all the exciting prop bets available that don’t require you to pick a winner. Props are some of the most popular Super Bowl bets, with action on everything from the coin toss to the length of the national anthem.
There is also an extensive list of bets that bettors can place on individual players. Here I’ll look at some of the odds for three of the best Cincinnati Bengals player prop bets.
Super Bowl 56 Info
- When: Sunday, Feb. 13th
- Time: 6:30 P.M. EST
- Venue: SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA
1. Tee Higgins Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
There are many different reasons to like this bet. For one, Tee Higgins played in 14 games in the regular season and averaged more than 69.5 receiving yards (77.9).
Second, he’s topped this number in the last two games, with 96 yards against the Tennessee Titans and 103 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last, Ja’Marr Chase is likely to see a heavy dose of star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, which could force Joe Burrow to target his secondary receivers even more than usual. I like this bet for those reasons.
2. Joe Mixon Over 26.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Here’s another bet that I think has a lot of value. While it’s true that Joe Mixon averaged less than this total during the regular season (19.6), let’s focus on what his production has looked like more recently. This year, Mixon has gone over the 26.5 mark in all three playoff games. In the last two games of the regular season, Mixon also eclipsed this mark.
Furthermore, this is a tough Los Angeles Rams front that will be hard to penetrate. LA has allowed a minuscule 161 rushing yards through three playoff games this year, making it much more likely that Cincinnati will want to get the ball in Mixon’s hands out in the flat.
Mixon also has the kind of speed that could eclipse that total with just one well-executed screen pass.
3. Evan McPherson Over 7.5 Kicking Points (-115)
I might have saved the best for last with this one. First of all, Evan McPherson rarely misses. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a rookie kicker that’s been so instrumental to his team’s success.
McPherson is a perfect 12/12 on field goals in the postseason, including a long of 54. He’s also nailed all of his extra-point attempts, going 4/4.
With McPherson averaging over 13 kicking points per game in the playoffs, and the threat of a miss minimal, this one seems like a no-brainer to me.
