  • The Adelaide International is the last warmup before the Australian Open.
  • Like last week in Brisbane, the WTA draw is bigger than its ATP counterpart.
  • The total women’s prize purse in Adelaide is more than $1.2 million.

The Aussie swing continues this week with another joint ATP/WTA tournament.

This time, the tour will be on the southern shore of Australia, playing its final warmup for the 2026 Australian Open in Adelaide.

Like last week’s Brisbane International, Adelaide has both men’s and women’s players competing, but the women’s tournament is “bigger” since it’s a WTA 500 event.

Adelaide won’t come anywhere near rivaling this month’s Australian Open prize money. But there’s still $1,206,446 on the women’s side up for grabs this week, which is still good work, if you can get it.

On the men’s side, there is a smaller prize purse of $700,045 available for this ATP 250 event.
