In Week 3, Green Bay’s defense showed physicality and confidence. Yet, the team currently gives up an average of 22.7 points per game, ranking 13th among all NFL teams. However, they allow an average of 108.5 yards against the rush, which ranks 20th.

Gibson has the perfect opportunity to have a breakout game against the Packers defense in NFL Week 7.

Playing Through Injury

For almost the entire season, Gibson has been playing through injuries that could prevent him from having the breakout game he desperately needs.

For multiple weeks he was limited in practice from a shoulder injury. Then, in Week 4, Gibson sat out for a few plays due to a chest injury. Yet, the most concerning injury occurred leading up to Week 5.

He was questionable to play in Week 5 against the Saints because of a stress fracture in his shin. Although his injuries haven’t lessened his workload, there are concerns about his stress fracture.
