During his junior career, Price joined the Tri-City Americans. While he was with the team, he would go on to win the Del Wilson Trophy twice.
After being drafted into the NHL, he would go on to win NHL Rookie of the Month in March 2008, as well as playing for the NHL All-Rookie Team in the 2007-08 season. He also played in the NHL YoungStars Game in 2009, and was selected for the NHL First All-Star Team. Hes also received his fair share of trophies, including the Vezina, Hart Memorial, Lou Marsh, and William M. Jennings Trophy.
His 2017 contract extension saw the goaltender walk away with $10.5 million per year for eight years, bringing his contract total to $84 million.
Carey Price has been an avid supporter of the Breakfast Club of Canada, The Carson Kozig Foundation, and the Montreal Canadiens Childrens Foundation. As a part of his charity efforts, he received the Jean Beliveau Trophy in 2014.
