  • Delray Beach is a popular tour event for hardcourt players in February.
  • The total prize purse for the 2026 Delray Beach Open is about $700,000.

Next month’s Sunshine Double is the major American hardcourt swing at the beginning of spring with major tournaments in Florida (Miami Open) and California (Indian Wells).

February has a similar American double draw, albeit on a smaller scale. After last week’s Dallas Open, many hardcourt players are now in Florida for a 250-point event at Delray Beach.

Despite a smaller prize purse and a relative lack of prestige, Delray Beach remains a popular spot for men’s tour players because of one obvious factor: the weather. A majority of players on both tours return to colder climates after January’s Aussie summer, but a trip to Florida in February does offer a few more days of sun in the heart of winter.
