The San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams will meet for the third time this season in the NFC Championship game. The Rams haven’t beaten San Francisco in their last six tries dating back to 2019. There is plenty of NFL betting action this week when considering NFC Championship game parlay bets.
Let’s look at the details for this game between two divisional rivals before we get into parlay bets.
49ers at Rams (-3.5)
Here are the details you need to know for this game.
- Date: Sunday, Jan. 30th
- Time: 6:30 P.M. EST
- Venue: SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA
NFC Championship Matchup
The 49ers own a 6-0 record over the Rams over the past three seasons. I believe the 49ers will continue their winning ways over the Rams.
Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. are great additions, and Matthew Stafford has had a great season, but the 49ers have already beaten Los Angeles twice this season. I believe that Kyle Shanahan will probably use the game plan that has worked against the Rams this season. With a committed running game and ball control, I like the 49ers to win again.
That said, there are some intriguing choices for NFC Championship game parlay bets. I believe defense on both sides will play a significant role in the final score of this game. Some of my parlay bets will reflect a low-scoring game.
49ers Moneyline and Under 43.5 Points (+425)
Since I will take the 49ers to win, I will parlay the money line with the over/under. The over/under is 46.5, but with defense being a priority, I think the score should be well below that number.
So for football betting, my first parlay will have the 49ers winning with a 43.5 under for +425 odds. The 49ers have struggled offensively, but their defense has played well during the playoffs, holding the Dallas Cowboys, who averaged 30.4 points per game this season, to 17 points. They then held the Packers, who averaged 25.6 points per game, to ten points in the divisional round.
Meanwhile, the 49ers have only averaged 18 points per game during the playoffs, and they’ve held the Rams to an average of 17 points the two times they’ve played them this season.
Tyler Higbee to Score and a 49ers Win (+600)
I will use the 49ers money line for parlay bets with individual players for some fun football betting. One player is Los Angeles tight end Tyler Higbee, who has scored touchdowns in both games against San Francisco. A Higbee touchdown with a 49ers’ win is +600.
Higbee could get on the scoreboard again if the 49ers focus on stopping Odell Beckham Jr. and Cooper Kupp.
Matthew Stafford to Score and 49ers Win (+2000)
I get even better odds with a Matthew Stafford touchdown in a loss. That parlay gives me +2000 odds, which is too good for me to pass up. Stafford had three touchdowns (and two interceptions) in the Rams’ Week 18 loss to the 49ers.
You could also combine the two previous bets for a large payout. Betting $100 each on these two previous bets would give you a potential payout of $2,800.
NFC Championship Football Betting
The NFC Championship game should be a low-scoring affair between two teams that know each other well. There are plenty of interesting storylines to keep NFL bettors entertained. NFC Championship game parlay bets make watching this huge matchup that much better.
