Best NFL Over-Unders in Week 13

NFL over-unders help bettors when the money line isn’t valuable, or the point spread is too difficult to handicap. To improve your chances of winning these bets, you should also make a habit of checking the totals at the start of every week.

Let’s see what the NFL betting lines show for over-unders in Week 13.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans (O 46.5)

The Indianapolis Colts have the best NFL over-unders record this season at 8-4. After 12 games, they’ve averaged slightly more than 28 points per contest. Their loss last week at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a 38-31 shootout.

The Colts averaged nearly 32 points per game in their previous three matchups. In Week 13, They’ll face their divisional rival, the Houston Texans.

The over-under for their matchup is currently a mild 46.5.

The Texans lost at home last week to the New York Jets, 21-14. Houston ranks dead last for points per game this season, but there’s one bright spot.

They are ranked 20th for points at home, averaging almost 21.

For both teams to have average games this week puts their point total for Sunday at 49.

If the Colts can score 31 against the defending Super Bowl champs, I think they should come pretty close to covering 46.5 themselves this week at Houston.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Rams (O 48)

At 6-4-1, the second-best team for over-unders this season is the Los Angeles Rams. Last week, they put up 28 points on the road against the Green Bay Packers. In Week 13, the Rams will be facing the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After their stunning victory at home against the Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville allowed an average of 24.6 points in their last three losses. On the season, the Jags give up nearly 26 points per game.

The current over-under for the Jaguars at Rams is 48.

Jacksonville has only hit the over twice this season So, the scoring potential falls on the shoulders of Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense.

If the Rams can score into the 30s, I’d say the over has a good chance of hitting.

Jacksonville is ranked 25th for points allowed, while the Rams are 21st. So a final score of 27-24 isn’t out of the realm of possibility. Give or take a few in either direction, and I think the over at 48 is a great bet.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks (U 46.5)

The Seattle Seahawks have only hit the over once this season (and they have one push). They’ll be hosting the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13.

The Seahawks surprisingly won their previous matchup in Week 4, 28-21. Russell Wilson completed 16 out of 23 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

That was before Wilson’s injury. Since then, the Seahawks have struggled immensely on offense, getting shut out in Green Bay and scoring 13 at home against the Arizona Cardinals.

The current over-under for the 49ers at Seahawks is 46.5.

I’d keep my eye on that line throughout the week. The 49ers have been on fire offensively, so I see the potential of a lopsided game in Week 13.

I don’t think the 49ers can carry the total score past 46 themselves, so the under for their matchup looks like a safe play.
