Ohio State and Oregon met in the first College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Jan. 12, 2015. Since then, every title game has featured either Alabama, Clemson, or both. The two teams met in the 2016, 2017, and 2019 games, with Clemson going 2-1.

Alabama has won three of the seven CFP national championships, and Clemson has two titles. Ohio State and LSU hoisted the trophy the other two times. And if the college football betting odds are accurate, don’t expect much to change in 2021.

Alabama has the best betting odds to win the national title at +250. Clemson is right there at +350, followed by Ohio State at +500 and Oklahoma at +700.

It’s the same group of blueblood programs we routinely see at the top. Of course, while the chances are high one of these teams will win it all, college football betting involving futures can make you fall in love with a dark horse team with good value. Take a look here to see which teams are getting the most interest from bettors and who the favorite dark horse is.

Here are the college football national title odds on the BetMGM online sportsbook.
