My prediction is a TKO/KO victory for Jones over Gualtieri because he’s the faster fighter and he maximizes his jabs to set up combinations. Meanwhile, Gualtieri relies heavily on his power punches, which take up a significant amount of energy, especially if he doesn’t land them.
Jones uses his jabs to gauge distance and makes them his main point of attack. His best offense is the left hook, and when it lands, it always automatically stuns his opponents or even knocks them down.
Gualtieri’s best chance against Jones is to counterpunch him because he’s very open to quick punches, particularly at the end of his combinations. Also, Jones doesn’t have good head movement, as his best defensive attack is leaning back.
