Angelo Leo vs. Ra’eese Aleem: Prediction

My prediction is a decision win for Leo over Aleem, as he’s the volume puncher and maximizes his jabs to set up his power punches. Leo isn’t only a notorious head hunter, but also likes to target the body of his opponents to mix his offense.

Even though both boxers have identical physical attributes, the distance management of Leo will allow him to snipe Aleem with stiff jabs to the head and body. And if Aleem force an exchange on the pocket, the variety of punches from Leo will allow him to land more.

A knockdown or two during the match won’t be surprise, especially if Leo times a perfect left hook to the chin of Aleem, which he used when he knocked out Luis Alberto Lopez. The only thing Leo should be careful of is the straight right-hand punch from Aleem.

Angelo Leo’s Recent Fight Results

Leo is the current IBF titleholder and since his move to the featherweight division, he has been undefeated in his last five bouts. His victories were against Nicolas Polanco, Mike Plania, Eduardo Baez, Luis Alberto Lopez, and Tomoki Kameda.
