The WBO and IBF super featherweight unification fight between champions Emanuel Navarrete and Eduardo Nunez will headline the boxing event on Saturday at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, California.
Because of his current 19-fight win streak, which dates back to 2018, Nunez heads into the championship showdown as the betting favorite with -200 boxing odds. Meanwhile, Navarrete, who had a recent no-contest result in his previous fight, will be the +175 betting underdog. A draw result has odds of +1400.

Emanuel Navarrete vs. Eduardo Nunez: Prediction
My prediction is a TKO/KO victory for Nunez over Navarrete because the former is a more disciplined boxer who doesn’t overextend himself just to land a clean punch. Navarrete may have the longer reach, but he doesn’t fully utilize it to fight on the outside.
Instead, Navarrete forces the action against his opponents with looping hook punches that leaves himself vulnerable to counters. If Nunez stays tight and disciplined with his defense, he’ll be able to time the perfect counterpunch to the chin or body of Navarrete.
The only thing that Nunez should avoid in this match is accepting the invitation to a chaotic flurry of punches that Navarrete initiates, because he might get caught with a solid punch, which is where Navarrete thrives.
Emanuel Navarrete’s Recent Fight Results
Navarrete is a three-division boxing world champion. However, in his last five fights, he has only won two fights against Oscar Valdez, lost to Denys Berinchyk, had a draw with Robson Conceição, and a no-contest result with Charly Suarez.
Eduardo Nunez’s Recent Fight Results
Nunez is on a 19-fight win streak and last tasted defeat in 2018. His last five victories were against Jesus Martin Ceyca, Oscar Escandon, Miguel Marriaga, Masanori Rikiishi, and, most recently, Christopher Diaz-Velez.
