Despite his perfect pro record, Gisayov heads into the championship bout as the betting underdog with +200 boxing odds. Meanwhile, Cattreall, who was a former world title challenger, will be the -230 betting favorite. A draw result has odds of +1600.

Jack Catterall vs. Shakhram Giyasov: Prediction
As the heavier puncher and the experience of fighting at a world class level, I predict a decision victory for Catterall over Giyasov. Also, Giyasov is a very hittable target because he doesn’t have a good head movement and doesn’t move his head away from the center line.
Giyasov is a pressure forward fighter who likes to control the center of the ring and force his opponents to fight on their back foot. However, he tends to dip his head a little low when loading up with his punches.
This can be a good opportunity for Catterall to time and connect his signature uppercut punch when Giyasov dips his head. If Catterall lands this punch, it’ll surely wobble Giyasov, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets knocked down.
