The bantamweight clash between Jeyvier Cintron and Efrain Sandoval will be the co-headliner of the upcoming boxing event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Jan. 10.

With a better professional record, Cintron is going to be the betting favorite with -360 boxing odds, while Sandoval will be the +300 betting underdog despite having more career fights. A draw result has odds of +1400.

Jeyvier Cintron vs. Victor Efrain Sandoval: Prediction

My prediction is a unanimous decision for Cintron over Sandoval because he has had a full camp to train for this upcoming fight. Sandoval is a late replacement opponent for Cintron, who was supposed to face Jonathan Rodriguez.

The very short preparation time for Sandoval won’t get the job done against Cintron, who recently captured the WBO International bantamweight belt and is gunning to make a statement for a major shot at a world title.

With the toughness, durability and youth of Sandoval, I think he’ll survive the whole duration of the match even if he’s the late replacement. However, it’s going to be a masterclass of a performance for Cintron.

Jeyvier Cintron’s Recent Fight Results

Cintron is coming off a unanimous decision over Rashib Martinez Valadez to capture the vacant WBO International bantamweight belt. But in his four fights before that, Cintron recorded wins against Koki Eto and Carlos Mujica, while losing to Kazuto Ioka and having a no-contest with Eto in their first meeting.

Victor Efrain Sandoval’s Recent Fight Results

Sandoval has recorded three wins in his last five fights. His victories came against Francisco Gomez Sanchez, Gohan Rodriguez Garcia, and Edgar Pulido Rodriguez. However, Sandoval lost to Ricardo Rafael Sandoval and Yankiel Rivera Figueroa.
