Reigning WBO minimum boxing world champion Oscar Collazo defends his crown against Jesus Haro this Saturday, as they collide inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

As the defending champion with an undefeated pro record, Collazo heads into the championship fight as the betting favorite with -3300 boxing odds, while the challenger is going to be the +1000 betting underdog. A draw result has odds of +2500.

Oscar Collazo vs. Jesus Haro: Prediction

My prediction is a TKO/KO finish for Collazo over Haro because he’s the more technical and powerful puncher. He’s very good at adjusting his fight plan against any opponent. Collazo can initiate the action and throw a lot of punches, or he can be an accurate counterpuncher.

Haro is a very good challenger, but he relies too much on his one-two punch combination, which can be very dangerous against Collazo, because he can easily telegraph this and throw a solid hook to counter it.

If Collazo lands a damaging punch, especially in the early stages of the fight, I think the fight doesn’t go past four rounds. But regardless, the power, accuracy, and fight IQ of the defending champion will be too much for Haro to handle.

Collazo has been the WBO minimum boxing world champion since 2023. In his last five fights, he has successfully fended off the challenges of Reyneris Gutierrez, Gerardo Zapata, Thammanoon Niyomtrong, Edwin Cano Hernandez, and Jayson Vayson.
