Richardson Hitchins vs. George Kambosos Jr.: Prediction

I predict that Kambosos Jr. will win the unanimous decision against Hitchins because of his championship experience and the tougher opponents. This experience will shine on fight night, especially since it will take place under the bright lights in New York.

Stylistically, both boxers are defensive-minded and like to counter, but Kambosos Jr. can push the pace if needed. He showed that against Teofimo Lopez during his career-defining championship breakthrough. The Australian also packs a decent power.

With both having a defensive style, one must be the aggressor, and I see Kambosos Jr. play this role Heโ€™s eager to win a championship belt back to potentially set him up for a bigger fight later this year.

Hitchins doesnโ€™t engage in phonebooth-type exchanges against his opponents because he rarely takes risks. This is why I expect this championship fight to go the distance to 12 rounds. But I still believe that Kambosos Jr. will outbox Hitchins.
