Undefeated boxing star Robin Sirwan Safar is set to collide with former WBC interim cruiserweight title challenger Yamil Alberto Peralta on Friday inside the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

As the fighter with the immaculate record and over 65% finish rate, Safar heads into the match as the betting favorite with -230 boxing odds, while Peralta, who already has a loss and a draw in his pro record, will be the +190 betting underdog. A draw result has odds of +1600.

Robin Sirwan Safar vs. Yamil Alberto Peralta: Prediction

Even though Peralta is the quicker fighter and is very light on his feet, I still predict a TKO/KO victory for Safar because of the difference in power. The one-two punch is Safar’s signature attack.

Safar should look for counter opportunities against Peralta, specifically when he throws a jab to the body because his head is too low when he fires it. An uppercut or a check right hook can definitely work for Safar during these exchanges.

Furthermore, the experience level of competing higher-level opponents is another advantage for Safar, who has been fighting on US soil since 2019. Meanwhile, this is going to be Peralta’s first bout in the U.S., as he has mostly fought in Argentina.
