3 Picks for the 2026 Cincinnati Open Fourth Round

The fourth round of the 2026 Cincinnati Open is scheduled to begin on Wednesday for  the ATP and WTA draws.

With the tour back in the western hemisphere, I’ve gone through my usual morning routine of sitting down with my tea and scouring the sportsbook to look for tennis betting opportunities.

These are the three that I like.

Alexander Zverev vs. Tommy Paul Prediction

I wrote last week about how Zverev was the Cincinnati Open favorite in the wake of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz both pulling out. I also wrote that he was a vulnerable favorite, and that smart tennis futures bettors might take a few shots on competitors deeper in the table.

It’s time to back that claim up. Tommy Paul is the better hardcourt player, and he’s playing on home soil in front of an American crowd at a significant tournament. His +220 price seems far more about Zverev’s name value than on-court skill difference. There’s a lot of value here.

Jakub Mensik vs. T.A. Tirante Prediction

Thiago Agustin Tirante is a bit unusual considering he’s an Argentinian with a really strong hardcourt game. That form has been razor sharp this month, as he’s reached the fourth round in back-to-back ATP 1000 events. It’s given him a top-50 ATP ranking for the first time in his career.

Because of that, I think Tirante is worth a dart throw against Czechia’s Jakub Mensik.

Mensik has won six matches since Wimbledon, all of which have come in this American stretch of tournaments. (He didn’t play any of the post-Wimbledon clay.) But I personally think he’s drawn easy matches against lesser players, or players who struggle on hard surfaces, which is inflating his record and downstream market value.

I think Tirante has the superior form right now, which makes him a bargain at this price.

Linda Noskova vs. Amanda Anisimova Prediction

Women’s tennis is a great sport to look for season fade opportunities, and the American hardcourt swing is one of the most fertile windows of time to act.

Linda Noskova is a talented player who underlined a career year with her Wimbledon championship in July. But now that the tour is back on hardcourt, there will be strong opportunities to bet against her – often at plus-money prices.

This fade window began earlier this month in Toronto, where Noskova was upset in her first match back on hardcourt after winning in London. She lost to Caty McNally in straight sets.

Here, she’s quite vulnerable to Anisimova, who is just a straight-up better player on this court surface. She’ll also be playing with a likely huge home crowd boost, as the Americans will want to see one of their own upend the recent Wimbledon champ.

The market has picked up on these dynamics, which is why Noskova is -130 instead of, say, -180. But I still like Anisimova at the even cost, and I’ll be looking for more opportunities to go against Noskova at the even slower-paced US Open.
