  • The Cincinnati Open is the last big tournament before the U.S. Open.
  • The total menโ€™s prize purse is more than $9 million.

As the tennis calendar reaches mid-August, the American summer season is nearing its climax.ย

With last weekโ€™s National Bank Open concluded, the next stop is Cincinnati. The menโ€™s and womenโ€™s tours both head to Ohio for one of the final large tournaments of the year.ย

Cincinnati is the seventh of nine 1,000-point events on the tour schedule for both men and women. Itโ€™s run as a joint tour event every year since 2011.ย

Itโ€™s also the last big tournament before the U.S. Open.ย

As a result, fans of online sports betting can expect a full docket of players ready for Cincinnati, as itโ€™s both a major event in its own right and a grand slam tuneup.ย

The menโ€™s prize money pool for the 2025 Cincinnati Open totals a whopping $9,193,540. The womenโ€™s purse is smaller, but still quite large at $5,152,599.
