The speed and power of Shields are the reasons why I predict a TKO/KO victory for her over Scott. Shields likes to pop and probe her jabs to maintain safe distance and inflict damage against the opposition.
Even when she moved up to the heavyweight division, Shields still carried that speed and power. Shields also likes to throw a lot of combinations that drown and stun opponents. Meanwhile, Scott doesn’t throw extended combinations.
Additionally, Scott lacks head movement to evade punches, which could be beneficial for Shields since she fires a lot of one-two punch combinations down the middle. If Scott doesn’t move her head away from the center line, expect Shields to get the job done in less than eight rounds.
