North Carolina is the last seeded team standing. The Tar Heels enter the CWS championship series as the favorite, looking for their first program title.
Standing in their way is Oklahoma, which reached the championship series four years ago but hasn’t won a title since 1994. The Sooners were a sub-.500 team in the SEC this year but caught fire over the last month. They punched their ticket to the title series after back-to-back wins over SEC champion Georgia.
