It’s Week 13, and college football betting should reach a fever pitch with so many massive games on tap. Will Michigan be able to hang with the high-powered Buckeyes? Can the Cowboys knock off their in-state rival Sooners in the Bedlam Series? Who will own this year’s Golden Egg between Ole Miss and Mississippi State?

There’s also the developing Heisman storyline that has seen C.J. Stroud leapfrog Alabama’s Bryce Young as the current favorite. So let’s take a closer look at some of this week’s best NCAAF picks and parlays.

Texas Tech at Baylor (-14.5)

Baylor has been impressive this year on the way to a 9-2 record. They’ve won two straight, including handing the Sooners their first loss of the season two weeks ago. What’s equally impressive is that the Bears are 8-3 against the spread this season. They’ll host a Texas Tech team that has lost three out of four, including a 23-0 shutout at the hands of Oklahoma State last week.

The Red Raiders are 5-5-1 ATS this year and appear to be limping to the finish line. So I’m taking the Bears to cover here.

Penn State at Michigan State (51.5 Under)

It’s been a trying week for both the Nittany Lions and the Spartans. Last week, Penn State was hit with a team-wide flu outbreak that caused 35 players to fall ill and 21 to miss the game at Rutgers. However, thanks to great defensive play, they still managed to pull off a gutsy 28-0 victory.

Meanwhile, the Spartans are picking up the pieces after a humiliating loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Penn State will hope to get most of their players back, but it’s unlikely they’ll be playing at 100% health. This year, Nittany Lions games have gone under in nine out of 11 contests, and I believe this will be a sluggish game with points hard to come by.

Ohio State (-8.5) at Michigan, Alabama at Auburn (+19.5)

Parlaying these two games together will give you a nice +256 odds return, and I think both have a great chance of hitting. Ohio State seems to be hitting its stride at the perfect time and has left teams bruised and battered in their wake.

The Wolverines are a solid team but aren’t on the same level as the Buckeyes this year. Ohio State has dominated the rivalry since 2012, and I don’t believe that’s going to change this Saturday. Ohio State is too good offensively.

It hasn’t been a good strategy to bet against Alabama in the Nick Saban era, but the Crimson Tide are just 6-5 against the spread this year. They continue to be heavy favorites against SEC teams, but they didn’t cover the spread against their last two SEC opponents.

Last week, they beat Arkansas 42-35 as a -20.5 favorite, and the week before topped LSU just 20-14 as a -29.5 favorite. Given that this is a rivalry game and Auburn is a little better at throwing the ball than Arkansas, I like Auburn to cover the spread, but Alabama to win outright.

What Are Your Top NCAAF Picks and Parlays This Week?

Those are some of my favorite NCAAF picks and parlays for Week 13, but there’s no doubt that there are plenty of other great options out there. With the college season winding down, now’s the time to get in on the action.
