College Football Playoff Rankings Predictions (Week 5)

Only three teams have appeared in every edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings since its introduction in 2014: Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State. Clemson is in jeopardy of departing the exclusive club after a Week 4 loss to North Carolina State.

In the Week 5 College Football Playoff Rankings predictions, the Tigers fell 12 spots to No. 22, the biggest fall of any team. And with Boston College visiting in Week 5, they’re in real danger of dropping out of the projections entirely, though the Week 5 predictions include a Clemson win over the Eagles.

Elsewhere, Cincinnati is back in the top four for the first time since Week 2, Arkansas climbed to No. 8 after beating Texas A&M, and Baylor leads five previously unranked teams after beating Iowa State, a favorite in college football betting, at home.
