Marcus Arroyo is the offensive coordinator at Arizona State.ย

Arroyo has a fairly deep well of experience as an offensive coordinator. He got his first OC gig at Prairie View A&M in 2004 and subsequently worked at San Jose State (2007-08), Wyoming (2009-10), Southern Miss (2013), and Oregon (2017-19).ย

He was also the passing game coordinator at Cal in 2012 and associate head coach at Oregon in 2019.

Arroyo parlayed that experience into his first head coaching job at UNLV in 2020. His three years in Las Vegas didnโ€™t go great โ€“ the Rebels were 7-23 before he was ultimately fired after three years. But Arroyo is still quite skilled as an OC in spite of the UNLV results, which partially explains ASUโ€™s explosion onto the CFP scene in 2024.ย

Arroyo took over after Beau Baldwin was fired from the ASU staff at the end of the 2023 season โ€“ Kenny Dillinghamโ€™s first year in charge of the Sun Devils.ย

Under previous head coach Herm Edwards, Arizona State had staffed Glenn Thomas (2022), Zak Hill (2020-21), and Rob Likens (2018-19) as offensive coordinators.
