Auburn vs. Florida: Preview & Notes

Golesh beat Florida last year as the head coach at USF, and he retains some of the key players who sprung that upset at Auburn this year. That includes quarterback Byrum Brown, who followed Golesh northwest into Alabama.

Two years ago, Sumrall beat Golesh in a head-to-head matchup when Tulane drew USF on the conference schedule. Sumrall and Tulane won 45-10, and Sumrall’s Gators have scored 118 points through two games so far this season. Offense doesn’t appear to be a problem for the Gators.

Florida is 3-7 ATS in its last 10 road openers.  Auburn is 0-3 straight up and ATS in its last three conference openers.
