When blowouts can seemingly happen in any game, betting on college football odds or even college football playoff odds can be unpredictable.

As recently as this last season, a bowl game was one of the most lopsided in the history of college football. Maryland defeated Virginia Tech 54-10 in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Maryland was only favored by three points in college football odds spreads

Yet this matchup only tied for the 10th-most lopsided contest among bowl games.

Biggest College Football Bowl Blowout Ever

According to NCAA.com, Army’s 70-14 win over Houston in 2018’s Armed Forces Bowl takes the top spot for the largest point differential in a bowl game. Army’s 70 points are also the most scored by any team in a bowl game.

Interestingly, only three of the 12 most lopsided bowl games occurred before 2000.
