Garrett Riley is the offensive coordinator at Clemson.ย

Riley is entering his third season as offensive coordinator at Clemson. He replaced Brandon Streeter, who was fired after his only FBS season as an OC.ย

Riley, who will turn 36 at the start of this season, is seen as one of the best young offensive coordinators in college football. He won the 2022 Broyles Award as the best assistant coach in college football for his work as the offensive coordinator (and quarterbacks coach) at TCU. The Horned Frogs played in the national championship game that season.ย

Rileyโ€™s first gig as an offensive coordinator was at SMU from 2020-21. Prior to that, he worked as an assistant at App State (2019), Kansas (2016-18), and East Carolina (2013-15).ย

Clemson has a history of strong coordinators under head coach Dabo Swinney. The best run was the late 2010s, where Tony Elliott ran Clemsonโ€™s offense from 2015-21, helping to deliver two national championships. He took the head coach job at UVA in 2022.ย

Chad Morris (2011-14) and Billy Napier (2009-10) had previously held the OC job at Clemson.
