Lincoln Riley had a meteoric rise through the college football coaching ranks, going from a 24-year-old receivers coach at Texas Tech in 2007 to Oklahoma head coach in 2017.

Now at USC, Riley might be frustrating bettors with a mediocre ATS record in college football betting but remains one of the most successful coaches in the nation.

How Old is Lincoln Riley?

Lincoln Riley is 39 years old. He was born on September 5, 1983, in Lubbock, Texas.

Riley began his coaching career in 2003 as a 20-year-old student assistant with Texas Tech. He moved up the ladder with the Red Raiders, going from student assistant to graduate assistant to wide receiver coach.

After seven seasons in Lubbock, Riley moved to East Carolina to become the offensive coordinator. He was with the Pirates for five seasons before returning to the Big 12 as Oklahoma offensive coordinator in 2015 and eventually head coach in 2017, a position he remained in – and won 55 games with four conference championships – through the 2021 season before taking the USC job.
