The College Football Playoff semifinals are sure to be exhilarating with no team favored by more than a single possession.

Here are online sports betting insights for TCU taking on Michigan and Ohio State playing Georgia for a shot at a national championship appearance, as well as the New York Jets facing the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.

College Football

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Michigan Wolverines

Saturday, Dec. 31 | TV: ESPN | 4 p.m. ET

No. 2-ranked Michigan, the Big Ten champion, is a -7.5 football betting favorite as of Thursday, Dec. 29, against No. 3 TCU of the Big 12 in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.

Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy will need to step up with leading rusher Blake Corum out due to injury. McCarthy has thrown for 2,376 yards, 20 touchdowns and three interceptions while completing 65% of his passes. 

Ronnie Bell is the team’s leading receiver with 754 yards on 56 catches.

TCU quarterback Max Duggan, a Heisman Trophy finalist, has thrown for 3,321 yards, 30 touchdowns and four picks on a 65% completion rate. 

Kendre Miller, with 1,342 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground, and Quentin Johnston, with 903 yards, 53 catches and five touchdowns through the air, have been offensive leaders for the Horned Frogs.

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Georgia Bulldogs

Saturday, Dec. 31 | TV: ESPN | 8 p.m. ET

Georgia, the No. 1-ranked team in the country and the defending national champion, has -200 football odds to win over No. 4 Ohio State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

Georgia quarterback and Heisman Trophy finalist Stetson Bennett has tallied 3,425 yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions on a 68% completion rate this season. 

Kenny McIntosh leads the team with 709 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground, while Brock Bowers paces the team with 726 yards, 52 receptions and six touchdowns through the air.

Another Heisman Trophy finalist, Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud, has thrown for 3,340 yards, 37 touchdowns and six picks while completing 66% of his passes. 

Marvin Harrison Jr. (1,157 yards, 72 catches and 12 touchdowns) and Emeka Egbuka (1,039 yards, 66 catches and nine touchdowns) have been leading receivers for the Buckeyes.

NFL

New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks

Sunday, Jan. 1 | TV: FOX | 4:05 p.m. ET

In a clash between 7-8 teams desperate to stay in playoff contention, the Jets are -125 NFL odds favorites against the Seahawks.

Mike White will get another start at quarterback for the Jets. In three games, he’s thrown for 952 yards, three touchdowns and two picks on a 62% completion rate. 

Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is the Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite at -200 and has produced at a high level no matter who his QB has been. He has 996 yards and four touchdowns on 71 receptions this season.

Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, who is tied for the best odds to be the Comeback Player of the Year at +175, has thrown for 3,886 yards, 27 touchdowns and nine picks while completing 71% of his throws. 

Kenneth Walker III has run for 803 yards and nine touchdowns, while DK Metcalf (1,005 yards, 86 catches and six touchdowns) and Tyler Lockett (964 yards, 78 catches and eight touchdowns) are Seattle’s leading receivers.
