Joey Halzle is the offensive coordinator at Tennessee.
Halzle has been in Knoxville since 2023. He replaced Alex Golesh (2021-22), who took the head coaching job at South Florida.
Halzle was already on staff at Tennessee as the quarterbacks coach when he was elevated to OC. It’s his first coordinator position.
He previously worked as an assistant at UCF (2019-20), Missouri (2016), Utah State (2015), and Oklahoma (2009-14).
Other recent offensive coordinators at Tennessee include Jim Chaney (2009-12; 2019-20), Tyson Helton (2018), Larry Scott (2017), Mike DeBord (2015-16), and Mike Bajakian (2013-14).
