The Indianapolis Colts and the San Francisco 49ers will face each other in primetime on Sunday night. The 49ers are coming off a bye week, and the Colts are coming off a blowout of the Texans in Week 6.

If the Colts want back-to-back wins, they’ll have to continue their strong defensive play against the 49ers, who are rested and ready to get back in the win column. If you’re looking to bet on football this week and are intrigued by the Colts at 49ers game, check out this odds breakdown before you make your wager.

What to Expect in the Colts at 49ers Game

After losing to the Ravens in overtime in Week 5, the Colts and coach Frank Reich were looking to bounce back in Week 6, and bounce back they did. Instead, they kept the Texans to only three points and beat them 31-3 thanks to Carson Wentz, T.Y. Hilton, Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr., and Darius Leonard.

The Colts are looking to continue their winning streak, and the 49ers are looking to avenge their tough loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5. After a week off to rest and regroup, the 49ers are ready to go, but it’s anyone’s guess as to who the quarterback will be on Sunday night.

Jimmy Garoppolo was seen participating at practice on Monday, but Trey Lance was nowhere to be seen. The 49ers have other big names on the IR as well, including Mostert, Kittle, and Gould.

Money Line, Over/Under, & Spread

Right now, the 49ers are 4-point favorites (-200) to win the game, but they are by no means a safe pick. The Colts at +165 are the underdog, but not by much. Wentz is a constant injury concern, but on the other hand, the quarterback situation in San Francisco is up in the air.

When it comes to the over/under (44), it’s a toss-up. Indy is 3-3 against the over on the year and 2-1 against the over on the road. San Francisco is 2-3 overall. However, they’ve hit the over point total four weeks this season.

This game could easily be 13-10, or it could be 38-35. I personally wouldn’t bet the total because there are too many unknowns here.

If you’re going to make a wager on the spread, this is a coin flip too. I believe that Indy can at least cover in this game, as they’re 4-2 against the spread and have the talent to keep this game close.

Will the Colts Continue Their Winning Streak on Sunday?

The Colts at 49ers is sure to be an entertaining game for Sunday Night Football. While the Colts might be the underdog heading into the week, the 49ers aren’t favored by much. So stay tuned to see who will start for the 49ers on Sunday and place your wagers accordingly.
