It would appear that Chase Briscoe is positioned perfectly to capture his third NASCAR Rookie of the Year honor. He won the 2017 trophy in the Camping World Truck Series, and then in 2019, he earned the Xfinity Rookie of the Year honor. The NASCAR odds have favored him as a superior rookie driver all season.

He’s ahead of his top rival, Anthony Alfredo, by more than 150 points heading into August after the NBC Olympics break for this week and next. When racing resumes on August 8, he’ll have a chance to extend that lead on the NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year honors when the circuit visits the Watkins Glen road course.

Briscoe is driving Stewart-Haas equipment, he’s 26 years old, and he’s won 11 times in the Xfinity Series and twice in a short stint in the Camping World Truck Series.

Read between the lines, folks. It would appear that NASCAR already has a rookie of the year for the Cup Series, and it’s just a matter of time before he is crowned. But while Briscoe may light up the NASCAR betting odds soon, is it enough to interest you in sports betting online?
