Has the Dominican Republic Ever Won the World Baseball Classic?

The last time the Dominican Republic won the World Baseball Classic was in 2013, when they secured a 3-0 victory over Puerto Rico in the championship game.

Robinson Canó was named the tournament MVP, hitting .469 in the 2013 WBC. It marks the only time that the Dominican Republic has ever won the World Baseball Classic.
