Betting action is heating up with Euro 2020. Not surprisingly — thanks to their early performances in the group stage — France and Italy have intrigued bettors the most.

France (+325) opened the tournament on June 11 as the Euro 2020 odds favorite to win it all, and they haven’t lost any soccer betting momentum since. France has nearly 40 percent of the betting handle so far. Italy began Euros with a +1200 betting line, and the Azzurri now stand at +600 after two impressive wins so far. Belgium (+650) have also collected a perfect six points in their first two matches.

Every team has played one game in the Euro 2020 tournament. France’s odds continue to improve, and the team is now +325 to win after defeating Germany. France is the most bet team and BetMGM’s biggest liability.

France dominates in soccer betting lines movement with the highest handle (39.8%) and the highest ticket percentage (24.8%). One wager placed with BetMGM saw a bettor put $10,000 on France at +400, with potential winnings of $40,000.

Italy’s two 3-0 victories in Group A have clinched them a spot in the knockout round, though they haven’t won the group yet. They face Wales Sunday to see who will win the group.
