NFL Betting Week 11

Week 10 of the NFL season wrapped up on Monday night with a 31-10 throttling by the San Francisco 49ers over the L.A. Rams in yet another upset. After all the hype over the signings of Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller, the Rams put up a stinker on the road for their second consecutive loss.

It was one of many of the Week 10 surprises, and there’s no doubt that we can expect more of the same in Week 11 because, well, it’s the NFL. So let’s look at some of the best NFL picks and parlays in online football betting this week.

New England Patriots (-6.5) at Atlanta Falcons

There was a glimmer of hope for the Falcons after Week 9 when they upset the Saints 27-25 on the road. But that hope quickly went up in flames after a 43-3 loss against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Patriots are getting stronger each week with excellent defensive play and a rookie quarterback in Mac Jones who keeps progressing. The Pats are 6-4 against the spread this year while going 4-0 on the road.

As for the flailing Falcons, they rank 31st in the league in points against and 26th in total offense. I’ll jump all over this spread.

49ers (-6.5) at Jaguars, Colts at Bills (-7)

The 49ers are a tough team to read. In Week 9, they were blown out at home by a Cardinals team full of backup players (the same Cardinals team that just got crushed by the Carolina Panthers). Yet, in Week 10, they put on a dominant performance against a team that many consider Super Bowl favorites. If they play anywhere near the level they did on Monday night, the -6.5 will be no problem to cover against the 2-7 Jags.

The Bills looked like Super Bowl contenders on Sunday with a thrashing of the Jets. They’ll now head home to host a Colts team that is yet to beat a team with a winning record this season. This year, the Bills are 3-1 at home, and I like their chances against a dome team in the frigid November weather in Buffalo.

They have also given up a league-best 15 points per game and are second in points scored with 31.1. The Colts have won two in a row, but it was against the Jets and Jags. So it should be a wake-up call on Sunday against an elite Bills team.

Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns (44.5) Under

This year, the Lions have gone under in six out of their nine games while averaging just 16.7 points per game. They will certainly surrender points (28.9 per game), but the struggling Browns have scored 17 or less in four of their last five games, including an ugly 45-7 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

It’s uncertain whether quarterback Baker Mayfield will play for the Browns, but it shouldn’t matter, as he’s been the epitome of average, and they don’t lose much (if anything) when Case Keenum is under center. The Lions’ money line is tempting, the point spread (+10) even more so, but I like the under more than any of them.
