If you grabbed the Dominican Republic’s WBC championship odds before the event, I’m guessing you feel pretty great right now.
While anything can happen in a single-elimination format, I’d be surprised if the Dominican Republic slipped up in this spot. They have their sights set on a potential semifinal matchup with the USA, which could determine the eventual champion.
Given how the Dominican Republic has looked in this event, it’d be over or pass for Friday’s quarterfinal matchup.
