Leonard Fournette took the handoff from Tom Brady and followed Alex Cappa, pulling from right guard to the near hash. Cappa escorted an overpursuing Kenny Moore II toward the boundary, leaving only Andrew Sendejo – after Donovan Smith and Rob Gronkowski sealed the edge – between Fournette and the open field.

Sendejo got a piece of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ running back but was unable to make the tackle as Fournette rumbled into the end zone for a 28-yard touchdown run with 20 seconds remaining against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12. And what proved to be the game-winning score for the Bucs was also the game-winning score for Tim C. in Tennessee.

Tim entered BetMGM’s King of the Weekend for Week 12 by predicting the six highest-scoring teams, in order (including ties), from a pool of five games:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
  • Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
  • Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts
  • Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers

He submitted the following predictions prior to the 1 p.m. ET kickoffs:

  1. Bengals
  2. Buccaneers
  3. Packers
  4. Patriots
  5. Colts
  6. Rams

Entrants win $50,000 in cash if they correctly predict the six teams in order and are eligible for Free Bets (up to $250) if they miss one or multiple teams. The highest score each week, regardless of whether there’s a winner, is also awarded $1,000 in cash. If there are multiple winners, the cash prizes are split. In Week 12, there were two winners; each winner received $25,000 for correctly predicting the six teams and $500 for registering the highest score of the week.

Fournette’s touchdown – and Ryan Succop’s extra point – gave the Bucs 38 points, which held as the second-highest point total for the six King of the Weekend games. If Sendejo made the tackle and limited Fournette to a 7- or 8-yard gain, the Bucs, presumably, would’ve settled for a field goal and 34 pints, the fifth-highest point total.

Tim collected his winnings at Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Miss., where he also received a free overnight stay to celebrate his win.
