Marshawn Lynch played for some of the best teams over the course of his 12-year NFL career, so it’s only fitting he joined BetMGM, home of the best online sportsbook, as a brand ambassador now that his playing days are over.
Lynch joined BetMGM in July of 2021 and has been featured in marketing campaigns, promotions, as well as fan events.

Some of the promotional features Lynch, commonly known as “Beast Mode,” has been part of include Name That Beast, and Rapid Fire.
In Name That Beast, Lynch has to name little-known beasts (animals). Meanwhile, Rapid Fire has the former running back get asked a number of completely random questions, mostly not related to football. Yes, his favorite candy, Skittles, did come up.
Lynch has opened up and showed a personality with BetMGM. When he played in the NFL he was known for not wanting to speak to the media and his famous line at a Super Bowl press conference of, “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.”
Marshawn Lynch Career Highlights
Lynch had a terrific NFL career, playing 12 seasons for three different teams – Bills, Seahawks (two stints), and Raiders.
After a tremendous three-year collegiate career at California, Lynch was selected by the Bills No. 12 overall in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played three seasons in Buffalo before being traded to Seattle during the 2010 season.
After initially retiring in 2016 and sitting out that season, he returned to the league in 2017 to play for his hometown Raiders but needed to be traded by Seattle first.
Lynch played in 2017 and 2018 with the Raiders and again it seemed like his career was over as he did not play for the majority of the 2019 season. But, then after injuries to the Seattle backfield late in the 2019 season, Lynch returned for one regular-season game and the playoffs.
Below are his best career achievements.
- Super Bowl champion (Super Bowl 48)
- First-Team All-Pro (2012)
- 5-time Pro Bowler (2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014)
- 2-time NFL rushing leader (2013, 2014)
He finished his NFL career with 10,413 rushing yards and 85 touchdowns to go along with 287 receptions and nine receiving touchdowns.
