The New York Yankees will try to keep their season alive for a second straight night when they host the Toronto Blue Jays for Game 4 of the ALDS. First pitch is 7:08 p.m. ET on Wednesday at Yankee Stadium on FS1.
New York avoided a sweep with a 9-6 comeback win in Wednesday’s Game 3.
Aaron Judge delivered the biggest playoff moment of his career with a game-tying home run, launching a three-run blast in the bottom of the fourth. Jazz Chisholm Jr. followed suit with a solo shot in the fifth, giving the Yankees a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.
The Yankees now have the advantage with a chance to force a Game 5. New York is starting Cam Schlittler (4-3, 2.96 ERA), while Toronto will try to navigate a bullpen game.

Blue Jays vs. Yankees Prediction for Game 4
According to the updated MLB betting lines, I like the over on Cam Schlittler’s hits prop (4.5) for my favorite Blue Jays vs. Yankees prediction in Game 4 of the ALDS.
Schlittler is coming off a masterful playoff start against the Boston Red Sox. He pitched eight scoreless innings, recording eight strikeouts and allowing five hits. It would be tempting to bet him to follow that up with another gem.
However, baseball isn’t that easy. And the Blue Jays profile as a team that can give Schlittler some trouble.
Toronto’s lineup doesn’t like to chase, and it will wear down opposing teams with its ability to put the ball in play. The Blue Jays led the majors in batting average (.265) and had the lowest strikeout rate (17.8%) during the regular season.
Schlittler faced the Blue Jays twice this year, allowing six runs on 12 hits across 6 2/3 innings. He whiffed five batters and walked five.
The Blue Jays won’t be as baffled by his fastball approach as the Red Sox were last week. At the same time, the Yankees would like to give him a longer leash to preserve some of their bullpen arms.
As a result, I project Schlittler to surrender about five hits in five innings. That’s why I like this over on his hits prop.
