Based on the latest MLB win totals market at the BetMGM online sportsbook, the Toronto Blue Jays have an over/under of 88.5 for the 2026 season.

Blue Jays Win Total Prediction 2026

  • Under 88.5 wins

Coming off a 94-win campaign, the Blue Jays could face some regression in 2026. That’s why I prefer the under on their MLB odds win total.

Last year’s version of the Blue Jays was a lot of fun, and I was rooting for them to finish the job before they fell one win shy of winning the World Series. But I’m also not convinced they can replicate that magic after getting so close to glory.

Toronto’s offense was built on putting the ball in play and not striking out. The Blue Jays were last in strikeout rate and eighth in batting average on balls in play. For comparison, Toronto ranked 24th in BABIP during a 74-win season in 2024.

In fairness to the Blue Jays, they’ve done their part to counter any potential letdown with an active approach this offseason. But their reinforcements are coming in the form of pitching after landing starters Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce, while inking reliever Tyler Rogers.

Toronto made a push for Kyle Tucker, but its lone offensive addition was bringing in Kazuma Okamoto from Nippon Professional Baseball.

The Blue Jays are hoping they have enough collective offensive talent to replace the loss of infielder Bo Bichette, though I’m guessing the clubhouse will feel his absence after seven years with the team.

Ultimately, my stance is that the market might have overcorrected a touch on the Blue Jays following their 20-win increase in 2025 and a busy offseason. They still play in the toughest division in baseball, making wins harder to come by.

But don’t get me wrong, this team is still certainly capable of making more noise in October.
