Based on the initial MLB betting lines, I like the under on 1.5 hits, runs, and RBIs for Andy Pages as my favorite Brewers vs. Dodgers prediction in Game 3 of the NLCS on Thursday.
Pages finally found some success at the plate in Game 2, driving in a run on a double. That has set up an opportunity to fade him in the following contest, as this same under costs as much as -175 on Tuesday.
This postseason, Pages has two hits, one run, and one RBI in eight games. He’s only cleared this prop twice.
Pages hit .272 with 86 RBIs and 74 runs in 156 games during the regular season. There are reasons to be optimistic about his potential, but he’s hitting at the bottom of this lineup for a reason, and that leads to fewer opportunities.
Milwaukee hasn’t announced its starter for Game 3, but right-hander Jacob Misiorowski could be given the ball. The rookie hurler ranks in the 99th percentile with an average fastball velocity of 99.3 miles per hour, according to Baseball Savant.
I’ll bank on Pages struggling against the hard-throwing righty on Thursday.
