Brewers Win Total Prediction 2026

  • Over 84.5 wins (Pick made Feb. 20)

Based on the updated MLB betting lines, I like the over on the Brewers’ win total of 84.5 for the 2026 season.

To be honest, this is more of a blind faith in the Brewers at this point. I don’t understand all their offseason moves after winning 97 games, but they have more than earned the benefit of the doubt at this point.

Milwaukee traded away Freddy Peralta in a deal with the New York Mets, meaning Brandon Woodruff will take his place as the team’s top starter. Woodruff made 12 starts last year in his return from a shoulder injury that kept him out of the 2024 season, posting a 7-2 record with a 3.20 ERA.

The Brewers have demonstrated the ability to get the most out of their pitching staff, which is why Woodruff is my favorite long-shot prediction in the updated MLB pitcher wins leader odds market. But I also have confidence in the players behind him in the rotation.

Jacob Misiorowski flashed some special stuff in his rookie season, making him an intriguing No. 2 starter. Quinn Preister, Chad Patrick, and Logan Henderson round out a rotation that ranks about league average entering the upcoming season, according to RosterResource on FanGraphs.

After scoring the third-most runs in baseball last year, Milwaukee brings back most of its key contributors. Jackson Chourio, who could be a sneaky MVP candidate in his third campaign, will lead the lineup. Brice Turang, William Contreras, Christian Yelich, and Andrew Vaughn provide plenty of support behind him.

The Brewers have finished over their preseason win total in eight of their past nine full seasons (excluding 2020), according to Sports Odds History. They have finished over their mark in three straight years.

Basically, Milwaukee has grown used to exceeding expectations. I have no reason to believe 2026 will be any different.
