  • Get MLB picks and analysis for Dodgers vs. Brewers.
  • The Dodgers are -125 favorites in Game 2.
  • Los Angeles is -220 to win the NLCS.

The Milwaukee Brewers hope to even the series when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers for Game 2 of the NLCS at 8:08 p.m. ET on Tuesday at American Family Field on TBS.

The Dodgers held on for a 2-1 win in Mondayโ€™s Game 1, stealing home-field advantage in the process. Blake Snell tossed eight shutout innings before Roki Sasaki faced some trouble in the ninth. Blake Treinen recorded the final out for the save.

Los Angeles is a short favorite on the road, sending Yoshinobu Yamamoto to the mound to face Milwaukee ace Freddy Peralta.

Hereโ€™s a look at the latest MLB odds and my Dodgers vs. Brewers prediction ahead of Game 2:

Dodgers vs. Brewers Prediction for Game 2

Based on the updated MLB betting lines, I like Milwaukeeโ€™s moneyline as my favorite Dodgers vs. Brewers prediction in Game 2 of the NLCS on Tuesday.

If the Brewers hope to have any chance in this series, they have to win this game. They canโ€™t afford to go down 0-2 heading to Los Angeles after losing the Peralta start.

Peralta pitched twice in the NLDS, holding the Cubs to five runs on seven hits across 9 2/3 innings. He posted a 2.70 ERA in 33 regular-season starts, which included six shutout frames against the Dodgers on July 7.

In fact, Mondayโ€™s Game 1 marked Milwaukeeโ€™s first loss to Los Angeles all year. The Brewers defeated the Dodgers in all six regular-season meetings, outscoring them by a 31-16 margin over that span.

Milwaukee was the better team in the regular season. The Brewers won more games and posted a higher run differential. Their defense was phenomenal, as demonstrated by Mondayโ€™s crazy double play.

The Brewers should even things back up before heading to Los Angeles.

Prediction: Brewers moneyline (+105)
