If the Brewers hope to have any chance in this series, they have to win this game. They can’t afford to go down 0-2 heading to Los Angeles after losing the Peralta start.
Peralta pitched twice in the NLDS, holding the Cubs to five runs on seven hits across 9 2/3 innings. He posted a 2.70 ERA in 33 regular-season starts, which included six shutout frames against the Dodgers on July 7.
