The Toronto Blue Jays hope to even the ALCS back up in Game 2 at 5:03 p.m. ET on Monday at the Rogers Centre on FOX.
Despite coming off a 15-inning thriller two nights earlier, the Mariners stole Game 1 with a 3-1 victory on Sunday. Bryce Miller provided the staff with six innings, while Cal Raleigh clubbed a two-run home run in the sixth inning.
Toronto is a short favorite to win Monday’s matchup before heading to Seattle. Trey Yesavage will start for the Blue Jays, while Logan Gilbert will get the nod for the Mariners.

Mariners vs. Blue Jays Prediction for Game 2
My favorite Mariners vs. Blue Jays prediction is the over on Trey Yesavage’s strikeouts prop (5.5) in Game 2 of the ALCS on Monday. I also like the plus-money price on Seattle’s moneyline.
For an uncorrelated same-game parlay between the two predictions, BetMGM offers a +320 payout. But I prefer to play them separately.
Yesavage has soared through Toronto’s system this season, making three regular-season starts in the majors in September. He was filthy in all three outings, recording 16 strikeouts and allowing five runs across 14 innings.
In his first playoff start, Yesavage whiffed 11 batters in 5 1/3 scoreless innings. Toronto’s No. 1 prospect has a whiff rate of 35.4% early in his career. His split finger is notably untouchable, posting a whiff rate of 57.1% on that pitch.
Seattle has struggled with strikeouts for multiple seasons, ranking seventh this year with a strikeout rate of 23.3%. Even in Sunday’s win, the Mariners were fanned 11 times, including five by starter Kevin Gausman.
Assuming Yesavage reaches the sixth inning, I like his chances of clearing this strikeouts prop in Game 2. Ballpark Pal’s model projects 6.76 strikeouts for him across 5.16 innings.
That same model projects a 53.8% chance of victory for Seattle, suggesting the visitors could be favored on Monday.
