Twins-Tigers Game Notes
The Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers are concluding a three-game series in Detroit with a game at 1:10 p.m. ET today, June 11. Zebby Matthews (Twins) and Keider Montero (Tigers) are the scheduled starting pitchers for the game.
The teams split the first two games of the series:
- June 9: Tigers won (10-4)
- June 10: Twins won (6-5)
The Twins enter the game 31-38 overall and in third place in the AL Central. After this afternoon’s series finale, they’ll return to Target Field in Minneapolis for a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals, followed by a six-game road trip to face the Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Tigers are 28-40 and in fourth place in the AL Central. After today’s game, they’ll hit the road for a three-game series against the Cleveland Guardians.
