The Philadelphia Phillies have a win total of 89.5 entering the 2026 season, per the latest MLB win totals market at the BetMGM online sportsbook.

  • Under 89.5 wins: -110

Phillies Win Total Prediction 2026

  • Under 90.5 wins (Pick made Feb. 9)

All good things must eventually come to an end. That’s why I like the under on the Phillies’ MLB betting win total in 2026.

Not counting the COVID-shortened season, Philadelphia has improved its win total in eight straight seasons since 2017. The Phillies have cleared their preseason win total six times over that span, including last year’s 96-66 clip to finish over a mark of 90.5.

Although I still have faith in the Phillies’ profile in October, I’m expecting them to take a step back this regular season.

For one, Philadelphia suddenly has one of the oldest rosters in the league. The Phillies had an average age of over 30 last year, a group that got a bit older when their biggest offseason move was bringing in 33-year-old outfielder Adolis Garcia.

I’m also a bit concerned by how Philadelphia’s season ended in 2025. The Phillies began the postseason as World Series favorites, but fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers in heartbreaking fashion during the NLDS.

The Phillies benefited from the NL East only having one playoff team last year, but the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets are poised for bounce-back campaigns.

FanGraphs’ playoff odds have the Phillies finishing third out of that trio in 2026, forecasting 86.7 wins. As more projections are released in the coming weeks, I wouldn’t be surprised if Philadelphia’s win total drops into the 80s.
