Eastern Conference winner odds continue to frequently move as the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and other chase the conference title.

Entering the weekend, here’s a look at some of the NBA odds to win the East and which teams you may want to consider betting on and avoiding:

Favorite: Boston Celtics (+210)

The Boston Celtics have taken over as the Eastern Conference favorites behind two gutsy wins over the Brooklyn Nets in the first round and a key injury to Milwaukee’s Khris Middleton.

Jayson Tatum has proven that he is a player capable of leading a championship team in this postseason with a 31-point performance including a buzzer-beating layup to win Game 1. Boston’s defense is the true story here and they have given both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving some serious fits on the offensive end, something that is no easy task.

Superstars, a solid bench, and a stout defense make the Celtics the new online betting favorite in the East.

Best Bet: Miami Heat (+300)

Like for most of the season, the Miami Heat are continuing to just fly under the radar as the conference’s top seed with a 2-0 series lead over a feisty Atlanta Hawks team.

It’s been less than two years since the Heat were in the NBA Finals in the bubble and most of that team remains intact led by Jimmy Butler. The six-time All-Star reminded us why he deserves respect among the elite players in the league with a 45-point outburst in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

This team is complete without a real weakness in their starting five and can beat you in so many different ways. A +300 price feels slightly too high for the East’s number one seed.

Longshot: Brooklyn Nets (+750)

It doesn’t feel like many expected the Nets to head to Game 3 in Brooklyn down 2-0 to the Boston Celtics, but that’s where they stand and why you are getting such a long price on them out of the East. But, this series could very well be 1-1 if Tatum doesn’t convert a spinning layup as time expires in Game 1.

Backing two superstars in Durant and Irving is always a worthy proposition and if they can grab both home games to even the series, this price will shrink plenty before they head back to Boston. If you were waiting for a buy-low spot on the Nets after all the public backing they were receiving prior to the postseason, now is your chance.
