The Golden State Warriors have opened the NBA playoffs with victories over Denver and Memphis, which has Stephen Curry leading the NBA odds for Finals MVP. The Warriors, Mavericks, Heat, and Celtics have all advanced to play in their respective conference finals.

With that in mind, here are the top-5 players in terms of NBA Finals MVP odds.

Stephen Curry (Warriors) +200

The Warriors sharpshooter has averaged 26.9 points per game in the playoffs this year, which has included five games where he’s eclipsed the 30-point plateau. He’s shooting 45% from the floor and 35.9% from 3-point range. If Golden State has NBA Finals aspirations, Curry will be a big factor in taking down Dallas.

Jayson Tatum (Celtics) +275

Jayson Tatum has broken out offensively and been a star for the Celtics over their last three playoff runs while averaging 28.3 points per game this postseason. The Celtics star has gotten better as the playoffs have progressed, which includes a 46-point outburst in Game 6 against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jimmy Butler (Heat) +600

The fiery Heat forward has led Miami to two straight series wins over the Atlanta Hawks and Philadelphia 76ers. Butler and the Heat will look to keep their winning ways going against the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Jimmy Butler has averaged 28.7 points per game in this year’s playoff run and has been efficient in doing while shooting 46% from the floor.

Luka Doncic (Mavericks) +700

Luka Doncic has been nothing short of electric for the Mavericks in this postseason, averaging 31.5 points per game and being a key cog in everything the team does offensively. Dallas will be up against a deep Golden State team in the Western Conference Finals, but with how well Doncic is playing, nothing is insurmountable.

Draymond Green (Warriors) +1600

Draymond Green has had a lot of attention drawn to him with his flare and dramatics in these playoffs, which isn’t new to the NBA postseason. With that being said, Green is essential to what the Warriors do defensively and does a really good job as a distributor on the offensive side of the ball. Green will likely be tasked with limiting Doncic in the Western Conference Finals, and that will be a matchup worth keeping an eye on.

Tickets & Handle

Looking at the ticket percentages to win NBA Finals MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Bucks owned the highest percentage at 13%, followed by Devin Booker at 11.9%, and Tatum at 8.5%.

Tatum now owns the highest ticket percentage of any remaining player, while also boasting the highest remaining handle at 15.4%. Previously, Antetokounmpo boasted the highest handle as well at 17.5%, with Curry coming in third at 14.9%.

The biggest liability left in the NBA postseason is Tatum, while Doncic boasts just 4.3% of tickets and 3.9% of the handle.
