The Golden State Warriors are well on their way to advancing to the second round of the NBA playoffs and Stephen Curry is a big reason for that. The Warriors guard has averaged 27.5 points per game through the first four games against the Denver Nuggets, where his team now boasts a 3-1 lead as the series shifts back to Golden State for Game 5.

Devin Booker opened the postseason with the best NBA odds to win the NBA Finals MVP at +500 but has since seen his odds fall to +900 after suffering an injury that should sideline him for multiple weeks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had the second-highest odds entering the playoffs at +700 followed by Booker’s teammate Chris Paul at +800.

Curry has since jumped ahead off all of these star-studded names and now sits atop the odds list at +400 with Jayson Tatum closely behind at +500 and Antetokounmpo third at +850.

Both Paul and Booker now own odds of +900, with the Phoenix Suns series tied at two with New Orleans.

Current Ticket & Handle Breakdown

Even with his injury, Booker still boasts the highest ticket percentage at the BetMGM online sportsbook at 14.4%, while owning the second-highest handle at 18.2%.

Curry has since eclipsed Booker for the top handle at 19.5%, while also having 6.8% of the tickets.

It’s hard for Booker to see his odds shift when he’s not available on the court, but Curry is showing that the Warriors may be the new team to beat in the Western Conference, and doing so in style.

Rounding out the top five in ticket percentage are Antetokounmpo in second at 10.2%, Joel Embiid in third at 7.5%, Tatum in fourth at 7%, and Curry in fifth at 6.8%.

Curry and the Warriors, along with Tatum and the Celtics have both put together impressive performances in the first round of the playoffs, specifically with the Boston Celtics’ first-round sweep over the Brooklyn Nets.

In terms of the handle, Tatum now boasts the fourth-highest at 8.2%, while Paul and Embiid round out the top five in a tie for fifth at 5.2%.

With all of this information in mind, it’s hard not to want to look toward Curry and Tatum right now, but there may also be some value in Jimmy Butler at +1000 with him garnering 2.2% of tickets and 3.7% of the handle.
