Based on the latest NBA betting lines, my favorite Hawks vs. Bucks NBA Cup prediction is Milwaukee’s moneyline value (-160) in a game where Doc Rivers’ team should punch its tickets to the NBA Cup championship.
These teams met in Milwaukee on Dec. 4, where Atlanta earned a 119-104 win as a four-point road underdog. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 points on 15-of-26 shooting in the loss, while Jalen Johnson paced the Hawks with 23.
Antetokounmpo, who leads the league in scoring at 32.7 points per game, is worth backing in the player prop markets. He averaged 31.3 points in three meetings against the Hawks last year.
But as for the main markets, I prefer paying the vig on the Bucks’ moneyline value rather than touching the spread or total. The Bucks have an implied probability of 61.5% at these odds, providing a slight edge based on my projection.
